Four Day Manhattan

Four days in NYC, each drawn as its own colored line on the map. You tell it what you want to do; it packs what realistically fits and is honest about what doesn't.

Start here

• Hit Plan everything. It fills all four days by geography and priority, then shows a report of what fit, what got left in the list, and why.
• The ★ must-do places are placed first. Everything else fills the gaps around them.

The two halves

• Map (left / top): one pin per place, colored by day. Drag to pan, pinch or the + − buttons to zoom, Frame day to zoom to the active day.
• Day list (right / bottom): the schedule for the day you're on, with arrival times.

Building a day

• Switch days with the tabs up top, or keys 1–4 (0 = still floating).
• Add a place: tap it in the list at the bottom and it drops onto the current day (or drag it up on a computer).
• Reorder: the ↑ ↓ buttons on each stop. Remove: the × sends it back to floating — nothing is ever deleted.
• Tap a pin or a stop to open its card: address, hours, and buttons to move it between days.

Getting around

• Every connector shows how you'd travel and how long: Walk / Subway / Bus / Uber.
• Tap options on a leg to see all four times side by side and lock whichever you want. Auto hands the choice back — it walks short hops, subways the long ones, buses crosstown, and only calls an Uber when it clearly saves time.

Reading the clock

• Each day shows when it ends and either minutes to spare or how many to cut.
• Trim to fit appears when a day runs long — it drops the cheapest optional stops (never a must-do) until it fits.
• The conflicts link (top of the list) flags closures, timed tickets, reservations, and anything scheduled past its window.

The rest

• Add a place / Add open block for anything not already here. New places land with no location — the map goes into crosshair mode so you click where they are.
• Export copies a clean day-by-day plan with addresses, hours, and travel modes.
• Your edits save automatically on this device. Reset returns to the first draft.
• Change the Day 1 date and every closure warning recalculates.
